Making Custom Colored Pearl Embossing Powder
Material list: Clear embossing powder
Perfect Pearl or Pearl X powder
Clean container with lid
Heat embossing tool
Stamp of choice
Embossing ink pad
1. Place 1 Tablespoon of clear embossing powder into the clean container. If you plan on several projects using this color, double it to 2 Tablespoons to make a doublSe batch.
2. Add ½ tsp. of Pearl or Pearl X powder. If making a double batch add 1teaspoon. You don’t want to add too much as it will not mix well.
3. Stir the powders together slowly. If you shake them too much the smaller Pearl X particles just sink to the bot.tom of the bowl, resulting in an uneven distribution. Use a spoon to sprinkle over your project rather than your fingertips otherwise your results will be uneven color coverage.
4. Heat emboss as usual over your stamped image.
*You can mix Pearl X powder or Perfect pearls with colored embossing powder for added effects.
