If you need to pay by personal check, please state this in your email along with your address, phone and license #. *getting to know the markers and laying down color
**Learn how to "flick" & tip 2 tip" application, layer & blend colors
*choosing successful color combos
*learn about lighting and how to create dimension & depth in your coloring
*shading and highlighting techniques
*creating good skin tones and hair color
*shading round objects (subject to time)
*coloring white or creams (subject to time)
* Color transitions & the colorwheel
*use of the multi-liner pens & Spica pens

Advanced Copic Coloring Class

This class covers the more difficult techniques and challenging colors (did I mention red)! You need to take a beginner or intermediate class prior to taking this one. If you have, You're good to go!

*advanced multi-racial hair/skin tones
*glass/transparent objects, round objects
*feathering and background techniques
*coloring landscape
*coloring textured items
*metallics
*coloring folds, pleats, ruffles with light sources

* learn the brands, types & differences in pencils
*what’s all the fuss about paper
*get comfortable with laying down color and layering
**Learn how to blend the colors using different mediums
*choosing successful color combos
*learn about lighting and how to create dimension in your coloring
*shading and highlighting techniques (light & shadow)
*creating good skin tone and hair colors
*coloring basic images-people & other objects
Supplies: (Bring what you have!) These are your tools and should be marked as yours. Colored pencils- Prisma preferred but any brand will work just know the color names will be different.
Colorless blender pencil, Colorless blender marker, odorless mineral Spirits/Goo Gone/Gamsol or baby oil, blending stumps (Tortillions), workable fixative (Krylon, in a spray can. Found at craft stores), Dusting brush- needs to be soft and large like a shaving cream brush, stamps (optional),
Black Dye Ink (optional).
Each Student will get a goody bag of sample products.
(supply lists to be emailed to students if they want to bring their own Copics)

User Agreement (2012-2013)
When you sign up for a Class, you agree to the following conditions:
- Registration fee must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event (if paying by personal check)
-Please be on time to classes, classes start on time (It's only to your benefit.
- If you cancel a class 3 weeks or more before class you will get 100% of your fees back
-If you cancel a class less than 3 weeks before class, you will get 50% of your tuition back. To cancel send an email to me directly at c_vachon@msn.com.
